Confidential Intimate Wellness Care
Vaginal Rejuvenation in Ashland, OR
We understand how personal this is. We see women dealing with this every single day — and if you’ve been sitting on this page for a while trying to decide whether to keep reading, we want you to know something first:
You’re not alone. What you’re experiencing is common. It’s treatable. And nothing about this conversation — or any conversation you have with our team — will ever involve judgment.
Vaginal dryness. Laxity. The leaking when you sneeze or laugh or jump. The changes to intimacy that you haven’t told anyone about. These aren’t things you have to accept as “just part of getting older.” They’re conditions — caused by hormonal shifts, childbirth, aging, or all three — and they respond to treatment the same way any other medical condition does.
At Illume, we use a combination approach: the CO2RE Intima laser for internal tissue renewal plus PRP vaginal injection for enhanced regeneration and sensitivity. Two treatments that work together to address the full spectrum of intimate wellness concerns — from structural changes to sensation.
This stays between us. Always.
What Changes — And Why
Most women don’t talk about this. So when it starts happening to you, it feels like something uniquely wrong — when in reality, it’s one of the most common experiences in women’s health.
Estrogen decline is the primary driver. During perimenopause, menopause, and after childbirth, estrogen levels drop — sometimes gradually, sometimes sharply. Estrogen maintains the thickness, elasticity, moisture, and pH balance of vaginal tissue. When it declines:
- Vaginal tissue thins and dries — the lining loses its natural moisture and elasticity, leading to discomfort, irritation, and pain during intimacy
- Laxity develops — tissue loses structural support, creating a sensation of looseness that can affect both physical comfort and confidence
- Stress incontinence appears — the pelvic floor and surrounding tissue weaken, leading to leaking during laughing, coughing, sneezing, or exercise
- Sensitivity changes — decreased blood flow and tissue thinning can reduce sensation and arousal response
- Recurring irritation or infections — pH changes create an environment more prone to discomfort
These aren’t separate problems. They’re different expressions of the same underlying change — and our treatment approach addresses them together.
CO2RE Intima — Internal Laser Renewal
The CO2RE Intima is a specialized application of our Candela CO2RE laser — the same platform we use for facial skin resurfacing, applied internally to vaginal tissue.
How it works: The laser delivers controlled fractional CO2 energy to the vaginal wall, creating microscopic zones of thermal treatment. This triggers the same wound-healing response that makes CO2 laser effective on the face — new collagen production, tissue remodeling, increased elasticity, and improved blood flow. The tissue thickens, hydrates, and tightens as new collagen forms.
What it addresses:
- Vaginal dryness and atrophy — the tissue rebuilds its natural moisture and thickness
- Laxity — collagen remodeling tightens and firms the vaginal wall
- Mild stress incontinence — improved tissue integrity and pelvic support reduce leaking
- Overall tissue health — pH balance, natural lubrication, and resilience improve
The treatment: Performed in-office. No anesthesia is typically needed — most patients describe mild warmth and pressure, not pain. The internal treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes. An external component can be added to address the vulvar tissue as well.
Recovery: Minimal. Most patients resume normal activities the same day. Abstain from intercourse for a few days as directed by your provider. No significant downtime.
PRP Vaginal Injection — Growth Factor Regeneration
PRP (platelet-rich plasma) vaginal injection uses the same science as our PRP microneedling facial treatment — your own concentrated growth factors, redirected to where they can improve tissue regeneration and sensitivity.
How it works: A small blood draw from your arm is centrifuged on-site to isolate platelet-rich plasma — the concentrated growth factors your body uses for tissue repair. The PRP is then injected into specific areas of the vaginal tissue and the clitoral region.
What it addresses:
- Sensitivity and arousal — growth factors stimulate new blood vessel formation and nerve regeneration, improving sensation
- Tissue quality — PRP accelerates collagen production and tissue renewal in the treated area
- Lubrication — improved blood flow and tissue health support natural moisture production
- Orgasmic response — many patients report improved sexual response after PRP treatment
Important note: Illume offers PRP vaginal injection — our own clinical protocol. We do not offer the trademarked “O-Shot,” which is a branded franchise protocol. The underlying science — PRP injection for intimate wellness — is the same. The difference is that we use our own protocol, not a licensed franchise.
The treatment: Topical and local numbing is applied for comfort. The injection itself takes a few minutes. Most patients describe pressure but not pain.
Recovery: Resume normal activities the same day. Abstain from intercourse for 24 to 48 hours. Mild sensitivity or swelling is possible but resolves quickly.
The Combination Approach — Why Both
CO2RE Intima and PRP work through different mechanisms on different aspects of the same problem:
CO2RE Intima rebuilds tissue structure — collagen, thickness, elasticity, moisture. It addresses the physical architecture of the vaginal wall.
PRP regenerates at the cellular level — blood flow, nerve response, sensitivity, arousal. It addresses the sensory and functional experience.
Together, they produce more comprehensive results than either treatment alone. The laser rebuilds the foundation. The PRP enhances the function. Most patients who choose the combination report improvement in both the physical symptoms (dryness, laxity, incontinence) and the experiential ones (sensation, intimacy, confidence).
Your provider will recommend whether one or both treatments are appropriate for your specific concerns.
What to Expect
The consultation. This is a private, one-on-one conversation with your provider. No one else is in the room. You’ll discuss what you’re experiencing, how long it’s been going on, what you’ve tried, and what you’re hoping to improve. Many patients tell us this is the first time they’ve discussed these concerns with anyone — and every single one says it was easier than they expected.
Treatment sessions. Most patients benefit from a series of three CO2RE Intima sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with PRP added to one or more sessions. Your provider designs the protocol around your specific concerns and response.
During treatment. CO2RE Intima: mild warmth and pressure, 15 to 20 minutes, no anesthesia needed for most patients. PRP injection: local numbing applied, injection takes a few minutes. The entire combined session is typically under 45 minutes.
Results timeline. Some patients notice improvement in moisture and comfort within the first few weeks. Tissue tightening develops progressively over two to three months as collagen remodels. Sensitivity improvements from PRP may take four to eight weeks to fully develop. Results continue to improve across the treatment series.
How long results last. Most patients maintain results for twelve to eighteen months. Annual maintenance sessions keep the benefits active. For patients also addressing the underlying hormonal cause, hormone replacement therapy with BioTE pellets can extend and amplify the results.
Who This Is For
You’re a candidate if you’re experiencing:
- Vaginal dryness that makes daily life uncomfortable or intimacy painful
- Laxity or looseness that affects your physical comfort or confidence
- Stress incontinence — leaking when you laugh, cough, sneeze, or exercise
- Decreased sensitivity or changes in arousal and sexual response
- Vaginal atrophy related to menopause, perimenopause, or post-surgical hormone changes
- Post-childbirth changes that haven’t resolved on their own
This treatment pairs with:
- Hormone replacement therapy — addresses the underlying estrogen decline driving many of these symptoms. The combination of HRT (systemic hormones) + vaginal rejuvenation (local tissue treatment) produces the most comprehensive results.
- Semaglutide — for patients whose weight loss journey has improved their health but whose intimate wellness symptoms persist.
Talk to your provider first if you have:
- Active vaginal infection or STI
- Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
- Pregnancy
- History of abnormal Pap smear requiring follow-up
- Pelvic organ prolapse (may require surgical evaluation)
The Conversation That Changes Everything
Here’s what we hear most often from patients after their first vaginal rejuvenation consultation: “I wish I’d come in sooner.”
Not because the treatment is complicated. Not because the results take forever. Because they spent months — sometimes years — assuming they had to live with the dryness, the leaking, the changes to intimacy. Because no one told them treatment existed. Because they were too embarrassed to bring it up.
We’re not embarrassed. We do this every day. And we’re here to tell you that what you’re experiencing is normal, it’s common, and it’s treatable.
The hardest part is making the call. Everything after that is easier than you think.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is vaginal rejuvenation?
Vaginal rejuvenation is a non-surgical treatment that restores vaginal tissue health, tightness, moisture, and sensitivity. At Illume, we use a combination of CO2RE Intima laser (tissue remodeling) and PRP vaginal injection (growth factor regeneration) to address dryness, laxity, mild incontinence, and changes in sensation.
How much does vaginal rejuvenation cost?
Treatment plans are customized. For context, vaginal rejuvenation is a fraction of the cost of surgical procedures like vaginoplasty ($5,000-$12,000+) with no general anesthesia, no incisions, and minimal downtime. IllumèNaughty Beauty Bank members receive their discount. Exact pricing discussed during your private consultation.
Does vaginal rejuvenation hurt?
CO2RE Intima: most patients describe mild warmth and pressure, not pain. No anesthesia typically needed. PRP injection: local numbing is applied. Patients describe pressure but not pain. The combined session is under 45 minutes.
How many sessions do I need?
Most patients benefit from 3 CO2RE Intima sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart, with PRP added to one or more sessions. Results develop progressively and last 12-18 months. Annual maintenance sessions sustain benefits.
Can vaginal rejuvenation help with stress incontinence?
Yes. CO2RE Intima stimulates collagen production in vaginal and pelvic tissue, improving tissue integrity and support. Many patients with mild stress incontinence (leaking during laughing, coughing, sneezing, or exercise) experience meaningful improvement over the treatment series.
Is this the same as the O-Shot?
The O-Shot is a trademarked branded protocol. Illume offers PRP vaginal injection using our own clinical protocol — not the branded franchise. The underlying science (PRP injection for intimate wellness) is the same. We combine PRP with CO2RE Intima laser for a more comprehensive approach than PRP alone.
Will anyone know I had this treatment?
Every conversation and treatment related to vaginal rejuvenation at Illume is completely confidential. There are no visible signs of treatment. No downtime that would require explanation. This stays between you and your provider.
