For most treatments, yes — and we think you’ll be glad you did. The consultation is where your provider gets to know your goals, evaluates your skin or anatomy, and recommends the right approach. It’s also where you get to ask every question on your mind. For some services like facials, you can book directly. When in doubt, call us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Consultations are $50 — and that $50 is applied directly toward any treatment or treatment plan you choose to move forward with. So if you decide to book, the consultation costs you nothing extra. We structure it this way because a real consultation takes time — yours is a full 45 minutes with your provider, including a thorough assessment with our VISIA diagnostic. It’s not a sales pitch — it’s a clinical evaluation that gives you a clear, personalized plan. You’ll leave knowing exactly what we’d recommend, why, and what it would cost. No pressure to commit on the spot.

We’re an appointment-based practice, so we recommend calling ahead to schedule. That said, if you’re in the area and want to stop by, we’ll always do our best to accommodate you or get you scheduled for the next available opening.

Come without makeup if possible. Your provider will use our VISIA skin diagnostic to scan and analyze your skin, which gives us the most accurate picture of what’s happening beneath the surface and helps us make the best recommendations. If you have specific skincare products you’re currently using, photos of results you admire, or questions written down, those are always helpful but never required. Intake paperwork is sent to you digitally when you schedule, so you can complete it on your own time before your visit.

We understand that life happens. We ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel. This allows us to offer that time to another patient. For details, visit our cancellation policy page.
